Hello and thank you for inquiring about Cosmic Kids, Inc. This will be our 26th year operating at one of the best schools in the county, Strathmore Elementary School. We are a family owned and operated business and have been working with children for over 40 years. Our biggest accomplishment is being able to watch your children grow and to be able to create a family atmosphere where all are welcomed. Our objective is to create memorable moments that will last a lifetime. Here are some of the ways we intend to do this:
This year we are providing new and exciting clubs including: Cheerleading, Soccer, Drama, Around the World, Yoga, Holiday Happenings and much, much, more! Please stay tuned for more information. This program will be offered to all ages for a duration of 6 weeks. More to come. Stay Tuned!!!

WEEK 4: July 13th-July17th-Where in the World is "Bob" the Alien?
WEEK 5: July 20th- July 24th-The Great Outdoors, Survival Week!
WEEK 6: July 27th-July 31st- SMASH CON WEEK
WEEK 7: August 3rd-August 7th-At the Boardwalk

Staff
Here at Cosmic Kids, we strive to find the best staff possible. We choose the finest staff members for the benefit of our kids. Our staff are thoroughly loyal and aim to help the kids in every way possible. We couldn't find better staff if we searched for a million years. Cosmic Kids prides itself on its extraordinary staff and we appreciate everything they do for Cosmic Kids.
Beth
Beth is the daughter of Betty, sister of DeeDee, and mother of Stephen. She has 7 kids in total and many of them attend Cosmic Kids. She is a thoughtful, loyal, and loving person that really enjoys working with kids. She is also a magnificent soccer player. You can see her at Cosmic Kids regularly.
Betty
Betty is the mother of DeeDee and Beth. She is very kind and considerate. Also, she has a great rapport with the kids and staff. She was one of the original Cosmic Kids staff in 2000. It is with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to our beloved friend, co-owner, and most of all, mother to all. She passed away December 28,2025. Her love and influence of Cosmic Kids will carry on.
DeeDee
DeeDee is the sister of Beth and daughter of Betty. She is absolutely hilarious and can always put a smile on your face. In addition, she is a great artist and friendly individual. She's also talented at coming up with engaging activities. You can see her at Cosmic Kids and at Cosmic Teens from time to time.
Stephen
Stephen is one of Beth's sons. He is extremely helpful and enjoys sharing activities with the kids. He is an awesome gamer and artist. When he is given a task, you can rely on him to finish it. You can see him during aftercare at Cosmic Kids and periodically during the day.
Georgie
Georgie is a generous person. She is very passionate and is always helping others. She is a huge soccer fan (Go Chelsea!) and she is a great artist. You'll see her at Cosmic Kids. She has been apart of our family since 2011.
Although Georgie will never tell you herself, she is incredibly talented at making connections with all the children in our care.

Destiny
Destiny is extremely lovable. You can always depend on her to make you laugh. She's very creative and loves dance. She always enjoys playing with the kids. She attended Cosmic Kids from 2005-2014. She is employed through MCPS PEP program. Because she is a former Cosmic Kid, she knows the "ins" and "outs" of our Cosmic Kids Family.
Thomas
You may know Thomas as The LIttle Mermaid, Princess Elsa, The Big Baby, Birthday Man, The Gingerbread Man, or whatever else you want him to be. Thomas goes with the flow and always goes to the extreme to make our events special. He is currently reaching his goal to become an elementary school teacher and is in his third year of college.
Declan
Declan has been a Cosmic Kids since he was 5 years old. He has the background and knowledge of how much Cosmic Kids has done for him in his lifetime and returns the love to all the children present in our care. He is always looking for new ways to make our clubs exciting and interesting.
Aidan
Aidan and his creativity is a warm welcome to Cosmic Kids. He is always going above and beyond with new ideas to make our clubs and activities interesting. He has an amazing rapport with all the children he works with.
Liam
Liam is from the Strathmore/Bel Pre Community. His nickname is "The Energizer Bunny." He is the King of "3D" printing. HIs talent is building relationships with smaller groups of children. His experience being a boy scout, contributes to creating new ways to implement ideas for our clubs.
